the urban region and the urban realm
urban region = refers to the methods of communication from bonding to bridging within a spatially delineated territory i.e Physical communication
urban realm = refers to the to the distances of which communications take place & the people who enact and interact within those connections.
REALM SUMMARY - what lifestyle you live in i.e architect-higher earner connects over longer distances less often (higher urban realm) / factory worker, lower earner connects over shorter distances more frequently (lower realm)
Question - a higher realm member may contribute more financially but through the frequency and concentration of their mobility what do 'they' actually give at a social level in comparison with a factory worker?
